Caitlin joined CETC at the age of 10, in 2008, after she had concluded her gymnastics career. With the help of her coaches Lauren and Kayleigh Jeffrey, Caitlin entered her first grading in February 2009 and competed in her first Scottish Nationals the same year. Since then, Caitlin has qualified for many Scottish Championships and won several National Championship titles.
Caitlin began competing DMT in 2011 at Nat C, and has qualified for the Scottish DMT Championships each year since, winning the National title in 2012 and 2013.
Caitlin started competing DMT on the British circuit in 2011, and has now qualified for the British Championships 6 years in a row, placing: 3rd (2013) 7th (2014), 2nd (2015) and most recently 2nd in Senior Women (2016).
Caitlin took part in her first international - The Loulé Cup in Portugal, in September 2013. She placed joint 2nd in Junior DMT, and won a bronze medal along with Ciara Donlevy and Lauren Millar in the Women's DMT team.
In summer of 2014, Caitlin was delighted to be selected for the Great Britain junior DMT Squad, and has been re-selected each year since then.
Caitlin represented Great Britain in the World Age Group Championships at Daytona Beach, Florida, USA in 2015, and again in 2016 in Odense, Denmark, where she placed 9th in 17/18 girls category. Caitlin is ranked 7th in the DMT Senior Women’s category, after competing at the European Championships in Valladolid, Spain, in April 2016.
After completing her Learn to Coach qualification in 2012, Caitlin completed her Level 1 & Level 2 Trampoline coaching qualifications in 2016. She hopes to continue to improve her skills in coaching, trampolining & DMT.
