Ciara began trampolining with CETC at the end of 2008 and began competing the following year. In 2010 she qualified for her first Scottish Nationals, and in 2011 she competed at her first British Gala series for DMT, and in the 2012 season began competing trampolining.
At the 2012 Home Nations event, she was selected for both synchro and DMT, and then in the 2014 Home Nations for DMT and trampolining, where she won Junior DMT.
In 2015, Ciara was selected for the Junior GB DMT Squad and won the 17-18 DMT girls group at the 2015 British Championships. She then went on to represent GB at the World Age Groups in Denmark.
At the start of 2016, Ciara was selected for her first senior GB competition, and took part in the European Championships in Spain, where she won a bronze medal with the GB Senior women’s DMT Team.
For the past two years she has also worked as a coach for Live Borders, and coaches regularly at the local primary schools and holiday camps delivering sessions on a variety of sports to various age groups.
Last year Ciara completed her UKCC Level 2 trampoline coaching course, and is looking forward to consolidating all that she has learnt in the coming year. She is also hoping to complete her Club DMT coaching course this year.
