Rebecca started trampolining at the age of 10 when she attended Craiglockhart Spo rts Centre’s recreational classes. Rebecca moved to development classes at Meadowbank Leisure Centre, and was then invited to join CETC at the Crags Sports Centre, Edinburgh. Rebecca started competing in Scottish Grading competitions and qualified for the Scottish Nationals in Regional E in 2009, taking 2nd place in the competition, ranking her second in Scotland for her age & level. Rebecca qualified up to Regional D and competed in that Level for Scottish Nationals 2010, ranking 7th Place.

A few years ag o, Rebecca started training DMT (Double Mini Trampoline) at Nat C Level, which allowed her to compete in British Competitions. In March 2010 she travelled to Ireland for the Belfast Gala, where she managed to qualify in 3rd place, securing a place at the B ritish Nationals 2010. Rebecca finished in 61st place out of 72 competitors in the group, which was a remarkable achievement, considering that a leg injury after Belfast resulted in her being out of training for 4 - 5 months - and it was doubtful that she wo uld even manage to compete.

Rebecca completed her ‘Learn to Coach’ course, and has now passed her UKCC Trampoline Level 1 course. She will continue working towards her Level 2 Trampoline Coach course. Rebecca is also a Club Judge for CETC, and hopes to co mplete her County Judging course in the near future, which will allow her to judge at British events.

Rebecca is now in the middle of completing her UKCC Trampoline Level 2 Course and has just recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BEd Honours Degree in Physical Education.
