The event was held at The Arena, Birmingham on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd September. The gymnasts, who qualified for the event at Spring Series competitions earlier in the year competed alongside the very best trampoline, DMT & Tumbling gymnasts in Great Britain, for the coveted Championship titles. AVA HARVEY & MADELINE SMITH (FIG DMT 13-14 ladies) each completed 4 good passes to secure 13th & 16th places respectively.
Both Caitlin & Ciara executed excellent passes in the preliminary rounds – enough to secure both of them places in the Final of the Senior Womens DMT. Again, both girls rose to the occasion and performed well, with Ciara taking 8th place & Caitlin 3rd, securing the bronze medal.
The girls were accompanied & supported by their families, & CETC coaches, Lauren Jeffrey, Kayleigh Kerr & Kirsty Beaton. Well Done Girls! - from everyone at CETC!

Fantastic (although VERY long day) at the final Scottish Nationals Qualification event of 2018.
Excellent performances from CETC gymnasts, with many of our 71 TRA & DMT entries competing at Perth for the very first time!!!
The morning started off with all our junior FIG DMT gymnasts, a first competition for some, competing at this level!! It was brilliant to see a full CETC podium when Ava Harvey (3rd) Madeline Smith(2nd) and Kelly Wynne (1st) won FIG 13-14 Woman category!
Our youngest CETC competitor of the day, Archie Lawson, completed all routines and passes in TRA & DMT - at his first competition! Brilliant Archie!
Lauren Millar competed in NDP Performance 19+ ladies - her first time competing this year! She completed 3 lovely routines, narrowly missing the Nationals qualifying score.

MASSIVE WELL DONE to everyone!
THANK YOU to our brilliant coaching team, all our officials and the parents, for their support/chauffeuring/cheerleading/ photography & video skills!
