The final SG competition of 2022 - the Scottish National TRA & DMT Championships- was held at Bells Sports Centre, Perth on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September.
Only gymnasts who had qualified at SG competitions throughout the year were eligible to take part in this prestigious annual event.
CETC’s Holly Allfrey secured not only one- but 2 Scottish National titles- winning gold in the TRA Level 4 Women 15-16 group & also in the DMT FIG Women 15-16 group.
Fantastic results for all Holly’s hard work this season, & great prep for pre- competition training prior to her International debut at the Loule Cup, Portugal in October.
CETC is very proud to have a further 2 Scottish National Champions for 2022- Dylan Kilfedder who took the top spot for DMT in Men 15-16 Level 3 group. Dylan has also been selected for his first International at the Loule Cup next month - and Archie Lawson – who has been working his socks off this year- also claimed a Scottish Championship title in the TRA Level 3 Men 11-12 category.
Brilliant results boys – great to see all your hard work continuing to pay off!
Other CETC medal winners at the Championships were Kirsten Davie & Emma Hamilton who both won silver in their categories- DMT Level 2 Women 15-16 group, & DMT Level 1 Women 13+ respectively. Great results girls!
All CETC gymnasts taking part displayed some excellent routines & passes throughout the weekend competition. Well done to the following gymnasts who showed exactly why they had qualified for the Event in their respective categories:
TRA Olivia Fleming, Isla Stokes, Eilish Henderson, Sarah Murray, Kelly Wynne, Mathilda Ellis & Emma Forrest.
DMTEvie Munro, Olivia Fleming & Rachel Pettigrew.
Well done to all of these brilliant CETC TRA & DMT gymnasts-  who did themselves & the Club proud at the Championships.
Massive THANK YOU- as always- to our fantastic bunch of dedicated coaches - & our parent judges & officials – who all gave their time freely at the weekend - our gymnasts could not have participated without your help & support.
