"I first became involved with CETC in 2008 when my older daughter, at the age of 3 tried trampolining as part of a gymnastics class. It was her favourite discipline and she was keen to do more.
The gymnastics coach was Kayleigh Kerr, and the rest as they say, is history.

Only a year later my younger daughter joined the Bouncing Babes class and we have been members at the Club since. Their dad even dabbled in bouncing at the adult classes!
I’ve supported my kids to compete at all levels of competition from Club Championships, Scottish Gradings and Nationals, through to British Championships.
I’ve also been involved in the wider work of the Club by being one of the Safeguarding Officers for over 7 years, allowing me to broaden my understanding of the sport and the Club.

My kids are older now and have stepped back from competing, but their time in the Club has given them the opportunity to develop other skills in leadership and coaching, which will keep us connected to the Club moving forward."

(Janis was awarded an Honorary Life Membership of CETC at Club Championships 2024 having been involved with the Club for many years. Her skills & knowledge will be very much missed by everyone at CETC- as will daughters Ava & Mila.
The presentation of the Award was justly deserved, & the Club is delighted to add Janis to the CETC Honorary Life Membership role of honour - Thank you Janis!)
