Kirsty started trampolining in 2007 at the Crags Sports Centre, Edinburgh, and competed in her first Grading Competition for CETC one month later! She went on to gain a Scottish National Championship title at Level 6 O15 in 2007 , and also q ualified for the 2010 Scottish Nationals. Kirsty competed in DMT at British Gala weekends in Birmingham & Liverpool during 2010, but retired from competitive DMT in 2011 to follow her coaching pathway. Kirsty has continued to trampoline on the Scottish circuit , moving up through the gr ades into Regional E in February 2011. Kirsty secured 1 st place in the Scottish National Championships in 2012 in Trampoline at Level E O15. After a few injuries over the years, Kirsty is still competing on the Scottish circuit at NDP Level 5 . She hopes to qualify for this years Scottish National Championships again.

Kirsty gained her Assistant Coach qualification in S eptember 2008 and is now a Level 2 Trampoline Coach, with the addition of Level 3 modules. She is now a Senior Club coach for DMT and helps to coach CETC’s DMT Squads. Kirsty now also has her Disabilities Coaching Award , and is keen to work with children with additional support needs, to share with them her enjoyment of the sport.

In 2016, Kirsty was part of the selected coaching team who took the Scotla nd Regional team to 1 st place at NDP DMT Regional Team Finals - for t he first time ever! She has recently be en re - selected for the DMT coaching team for this years ’ Regional team Finals in Birmingham in June.

Kirsty coaches 7 days a week for CETC, and leads classes for East Lothian Active Schools & Enjoy Leisure recreational classes. She also has the role of British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards organiser for CETC, assessing participants in recreational classes and awarding certificates & badges for the L ev el s they have achieved. Al ways keen to support the Club, Kirsty is also the Bonus Ball fundraiser organiser .

She organises some of CETC’s fun social events for members – including the annual Christmas parties, which are always a huge success.

Kirsty is a very popular & well - loved member of CETC!
