Huge thanks to Fundraising Coordinator Lesley Borthwick, who organised a Race Night & disco social event for all Club members, family & friends. The event was held at Newtongrange Star FC Social Club on Friday 14th June.
The night was a great success, with a very impressive amount raised for Club funds from Race & horse sponsors, bets, raffle tickets, & roll the coin. A great night was had by all who attended - thanks to everyone who supported the event.
Madeline's dad Duncan, raised lots of funds for the Club by running the Edinburgh Half-Marathon on Sunday 26th May 2019
Not only did Duncan complete the course- but did it in record time - even beating his personal best!

A Family & Friends Fun Day was held at The Lasswade Centre on Saturday 18th May 2019.
The event was not only open to Club members, parents & families - but to the whole community throughout the day, & was very well attended by children - & adults!
Lots of inflatables,assault courses, photo booths, trampolines & DMT's made sure there was plenty for everyone to try out & enjoy!
Thanks to Leanne & Ian Donaldson who gave CETC the use of the inflatable obstacle courses & bouncy castle etc, & to everyone who came along on the day & helped make it a success!
Thanks to Amelia Lawson (& mum Kath), the Club secured a bag-packing date at Tesco, North Berwick on Saturday 30th March. Lesley & Kayleigh collated a list of helpers, to make sure that all tills for the full time we were allocated, were covered. As it was also Mothers Day the next day, some of our youngsters & parents also volunteered to man the gift- wrapping service - & wrap gifts & flowers for shoppers in the store.
The Club raised a massive amount for funds - so a huge 'thank you' to everyone who came along to help on the day. Thanks also to Tesco Community Champion, Lynne Kilcullen for helping to arrange the date for us at the store - & to the very generous Tesco shoppers in North Berwick! Thank you!
Lesley & Leah organised a 'Smarties Challenge' for Club members- to see who could fill the most Smarties tubes & collect the most coins!
Every Club member was asked to try to fill at least 1 tube with 20p pieces - & several members filled several more!
