  • cetc_admin

CETC would like to say a massive THANK YOU to George Milligan from Edinburgh (friend of Dougie Harvey – Ava’s dad) who recently completed the Cairngorm Charmer Hill race/cycle,
and raised a fantastic sum of money, which he has very kindly donated to CETC!

The money will go towards travel expenses for Gala participants travelling to Hull and/or Cardiff.

Thank you very much George!!

CETC SMARTIES TUBE FUNDRAISER

  • 15 January 2013
  • cetc_admin

Each member has been given a tube of Smarties - just eat the Smarties - then fill up the empty tube with as many 20p coins you can fit in! (If you're feeling really generous, the tube also fits £1 coins!) Each tube will hold around £12... so if everyone fills just one tube, the money soon adds up!

The winner of the first correct sheet drawn out the bag was EMMA HAMILTON - Well done!

We are still accepting donations until Sunday 2nd December - so if you haven't yet handed in some cash - you have until Sunday!

Thank you!

We are running The Body Shop Christmas Club fundraiser again this year - with thanks to Lauren Millar who has organised the distribution of forms and collection of payments, with Tricia Quinn (Body Shop rep).

Lucky Squares forms have been given out in classes, and every family should now have one (if you missed out - or you have any questions - please ask Lauren Millar).

Many thanks to Jayne Clarke and her daughter Jenny, who ran a Jewellery-making class at Lasswade HSC on TUESDAY 23 OCTOBER 2012 to help raise funds for the Club.

Those who took part had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, with Jayne demonstrating & helping the adults to make Shamballa & bead bracelets - while Jenny showed the younger ones how to make Kumhimo bracelets.
